A-Zyme Peel

What is an A-Zyme Peel?

Fast-acting, potent ingredients Retinol and Bromelain refresh, hydrate, refine and plump the skin without discomfort or prolonged downtime. The enzyme peel effectively improves all skin types and concerns, including sun damage, mild acne, texture and tone in the face, neck and décolletage.

Benefits

  • Visually retexturises the skin
  • Exfoliates upper layers of the skin for greater absorption of active ingredients in skin care products
  • Improves clarity and restores complexion radiance
  • Hydrates, firms and plumps the skin

Contraindications

An A-Zyme peel may not be suitable for you for the following reasons:

  • Use of Roaccutane (must have been ceased for double the length of treatment)
  • Vitamin A sensitivity or pineapple allergy
  • Facial surgery in the last 12 months
  • Open wounds, including dermatitis, rosacea, eczema
  • Cold sores (please advise your therapist if you are prone to cold sores)
  • Cancer or radiation therapy
  • Sunburn in the treatment area
  • Waxing, IPL, laser therapy or injectable treatments in the last week
  • Medical advice should be sought for anyone that is pregnant or breastfeeding

How many sessions do I need?

A course of 6 fortnightly A-Zyme peels are recommended to effectively refresh, refine, hydrate and plump the skin. This number will vary depending on skin type, skin condition to be treated and the desired outcome.

Once desired results are achieved we recommend maintenance peels or microdermabrasion every 2-3 months.

What does it feel like?

The A-Zyme peel has been formulated as a painless peel that will introduce clients to more advanced, performance-based skin treatments.

How will my skin look?

You can expect some mild redness initially that calms quickly. Some skins may experience mild flaking a few days after the peel but this isn’t essential for the treatment to be effective.

Make up can be worn immediately after the procedure and is the perfect lunchtime treatment.
