Pigment Laser Peel

What is the Medlite C6 Pigment Laser Peel?

Almost everyone has a few brown spots on their face from sun exposure and although they are not harmful to the skin’s health, they detract from an even, luminous complexion and can therefore be cosmetically displeasing to us. The Pigment Laser Peel is a very effective way to lighten these accumulations of pigment and improve the skin over all colour, luminosity and texture.

The Pigment Laser Peel is a light based procedure targeted to the signs of photo aging including uneven skin tone (pigmentation) such as freckles and age spots. A laser is used to paint over the face (or area of concern) then cooled for 15-20 minutes post.

What can the Pigment Laser Peel treat?

The Medlite C6 Laser Peel can help to visibly lighten and improve:

  • Freckles
  • Solar Lentigines / age spots
  • IPL resistant sun damage
  • Improve general skin texture and mild open pores

Note: Medlite Laser Peel can be used anywhere on the body for rejuvenation ie hands

How many treatments do I need?

Most people will notice a visible improvement after the first treatment however for more significant photo damaged skin; up to 3 treatments may be required.

The Procedure

There is a low level of discomfort and heat from this procedure. A topical anaesthetic is applied 30 minutes prior to your treatment to limit the level of discomfort experienced. You will feel a prickling sensation during your procedure followed by a mild heating at which time cold air &/or cool compress is applied for 15-20 minutes. A warm glow may be felt on the skin for 48 hours after your treatment.

How will my skin react after the treatment?
